House rules and good to know

Self check-in with a door code is available; personal key handover can be arranged in advance. Please tell us your expected arrival time, and by the day before departure the time you plan to leave. Late check-out is only possible by prior arrangement, for a fee.

Under Hungarian law, accommodation providers must record certain guest data and send it to the VIZA system. Guests aged 14 and over must present a valid ID card or passport; data for younger guests is recorded based on a statement from their parent or guardian.

If you prefer not to hand over your documents, you can pre-register yourself before arrival. Details: vizainfo.hu.

Please give us the billing name and address for the invoice. For a company invoice we also need the company name, address and tax number.

Only guests named in the booking may stay in the apartment. Visitors are welcome between 09:00 and 20:00 with the host's prior permission. The booking guest is responsible for visitors.

Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the apartment. This also applies to e-cigarettes, IQOS and similar devices. Smoking is allowed only on the balcony; please use the ashtray.

Pets are not allowed in the apartment.

Candles, tea lights or any other open flame must never be left unattended, and must be fully extinguished when you leave.

The heating season runs from 15 October to 15 April. During this period the temperature in the apartment is kept at a maximum of 20.5 °C.

We hand over the apartment clean, and ask you to keep it tidy for the next guests. Please take off outdoor shoes at the entrance.

For stays longer than a week, cleaning can be requested for 3,000 HUF per occasion.

The apartment is self-catering; meals are not provided, but you can cook in the equipped kitchen. On arrival you will find two rolls of toilet paper, liquid soap, shower gel, and sugar, salt, tea and coffee for the first few days.

The host may ask for a 50,000 HUF security deposit on arrival. If there is no damage and all conditions are met, it is refunded in full on departure. The security deposit is separate from the 20% booking deposit.

Guests must pay for any damage caused by themselves or their party to the apartment, its furnishings or the building. Please report any damage or fault immediately.

We recommend travel and personal insurance. Beyond what the law requires, the host is not liable for guests' personal belongings.

The host may refuse service or end a stay if a guest seriously breaches the house rules or endangers others' peace or the safety of the property. We do not accept intoxicated or aggressive guests.

Guests must use the apartment and its equipment properly and are responsible for following the house rules and for the behaviour of anyone they invite. By staying, guests accept the house rules and booking conditions.

If anything goes wrong, please let us know straight away so we can fix it. We are reachable by phone 24/7; between 00:00 and 08:00 for urgent matters only.
